The Roulette Wheel

If you got to this chapter before you checked out that whole layout, you’ve just raised the membership in the ‘D & D club’ to 135,944,624. What a crime!
A lot of you will skip over these chapters, claiming that you know every nook and cranny and don’t need to be bothered by this garbage.
I don’t want to drag this chapter out, because there are only a few casinos that still employ this move. Atlantic City had it, but did away with it and a few casinos in Vegas still keep it available.
In one sentence I tell you, ‘Play at games that offer the lowest house vig,’ and then I show you systems on playing the outside bets of a Roulette table, where the vig is 5.26% and three tables over are a crap game where some bets contain only a 1.51 % bite for the house.
If you don’t understand what vigorish or “vig” is, you haven’t spent too much time at gambling tables. The vig is always the “edge” or “hammer” that the house has over the bettor.
Why do you gamble? Think for a minute why you would want to plunk your money down on the outcome of a hand of Blackjack, or spin of a Roulette wheel, or roll of a set of dice.
Bet you didn’t think I knew any words with 9 letters in them (so, I’m a little weak in counting). These little things may seem unimportant, but in the overall approach to gambling I want you aware of everything.
