Once you buy the fact that gambling is a rough way to double your bankroll, you’ll cross over into the world of reality. Oh, there’ll be days when the trend at your table is so scorching hot that you’ll triple your starting money.
This is the start of your day. It all begins with the amount of money you set aside to gamble. If I could only get people to realize the importance of this part of the Big 4, a lot of people would stop walking out of the casinos with their heads hanging below their kneecaps.
I don’t know who’s the biggest dork in the world of gambling but I’ve narrowed it down to two categories.
I think gambling is the second most popular outlet for people in this country. It ranks right behind that three letter word that begins with ‘S’ as to it’s mode of popularity: sleeping! So I’m a little weak in spelling.
Sounds silly, doesn’t it? Well, it ain’t. In fact nothing about gambling is silly. It’s a serious business that costs a lot of people a lot of money. I take gambling seriously, since every time I make a mistake it usually ends up costing me money.
Everything in gambling is based on patterns of play. I sure as heck ain’t smart enough to understand it, let alone explain it, but the acceptance of realizing that Trends occur in gambling over and over and over make me a disciplined player.
Just a tick less important than the Big 4 is a grouping of items that I call the Little 3. But it doesn’t mean they contribute only a little to your game plan. You’ll see as we go along how important they are to your overall approach.

With the casinos in Vegas, Atlantic City, Tahoe, Reno, the Islands, Race Tracks, Bingo Halls, Lotteries, Sports, Poker, and a dozen or more other outlets, it seems like the whole world spends its’ days looking for things to bet on.
The world loves to gamble. There’s something about the aura of gambling that excites the majority of people in this country. I think it’s the anticipation of winning high amounts of money that causes this turn on.
